What stays on your device

Your progress (games in progress, completed challenges, times, streak, statistics) and your settings (theme, timer, language) are stored only in your browser. They are never sent to Oriqela.

For usage measurement, the browser also keeps the date of your first visit, how that visit arrived (for example “Google search” or “shared link”) and your last active day. None of this contains an identifier.

You can erase everything at any time: Settings → Erase my data, or by clearing the site’s data in your browser. The Passport page also lets you export your progress.

Usage measurement

To learn whether the site is enjoyed and improve it, Oriqela sends anonymous events: page viewed, game started or finished, share. Each event only states the day, language, page, game and level, duration rounded to 30 seconds, how the visit arrived and the number of days since the first visit (capped at 60).

No cookie, no identifier, no device fingerprint. Your IP address is not stored: only the country, derived by the host, is kept. Data are aggregated and kept for about three months.

This measurement pursues the publisher’s legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. You can refuse it at any time in Settings (Anonymous usage measurement): nothing is then sent, nor stored on your device for measurement. Your browser’s “Global Privacy Control” and “Do Not Track” settings are also honoured.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States. Phone: +1 888 993 5273. Website: www.cloudflare.com. Like any host, Cloudflare technically processes visitors’ IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, under its own privacy policy (www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy). This processing may take place outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

Advertising

Oriqela shows no advertising for now and sets no advertising cookies. If advertising is enabled, your consent will be asked before any advertising cookie or tracker, you will be able to refuse or withdraw it at any time, and this page will be updated beforehand.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction regarding data about you. Data stored on your device are under your sole control; usage statistics are anonymous and cannot identify you. For any question: [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
